15. Sacred Scientist
The SACRED SCIENTIST card calls on us to examine the inner workings or intersectionality of an issue at hand in order to gain the most knowledge from it. In this wonderful illustration, a ram-headed fae looks closely at a specimen through numerous sets of eyes, twisting and examining the specimen through a pinched forefinger. It seems almost as if the fascination had gripped him so much, he's forgotten the rest of the world exists. This card encourages us to examine the makings of a situation or person through deeper questions "why" and "how" to get to the root-- and the truth-- of how it (or they) came to be. It encourages us, above all else, to be insatiable in our search for understanding.
This card is part of the FOREST Suit in the Woven Wisdom Oracle, which asks us to closely examine the things in our natural/default settings that we commonly pay no mind to. Which details in your life are you encouraged to engage with more fully?
